Meet The Team

Role - Pack Leader

Chris is from Portland, having graduated with a degree in organismal biology and sociology. In his free time he likes to go hiking, hang out with friends, and play board games. He loves animals and is grateful to work with them here at Updawg and hang out with these amazing pups every day.

Role - Front Desk

Elizabeth grew up with animals of all shapes and sizes; every animal is loved like her own. When she’s not working, she’s either reading a book or outdoors with her husband and dogs!

Role - Front Desk

Jersey grew up with animals ranging from dogs to horses; she currently has three dogs and one cat. She loves giving all the animals in the facility lots of love and cuddles. When not working, she likes to go boating and going to vintage stores!

Role - Housekeeper

Leia is part of our housekeeping team, helping keep the daycare clean and running smoothly. She grew up around all sorts of pets and enjoys working with animals. Outside of work, she enjoys anime, needlework, and spending time with her two cats.

Role - Front Desk Manager

Lorissa works front desk usually in the morning, helping intake pups and making sure tags and leashes are in order. She is interested in cars and racing, and her hobbies include photography and caring for her two crazy dogs.

Role - Pack Leade

Matt describes himself as a passionate person with a love for all animals. He aims to be kind and understanding to all those he encounters, believing we should all try to be the change we want to see in the world. In his free time you can catch him cuddling his pets, watching anime, or playing video games.

Role - Dog Runner

You will likely meet Natalie when she brings your pup out to you after a rinse-off. Her focus is keeping your wait time to a minimum. When not working, she hikes and enjoys time with her fam. And, of course, she loves dogs.

Roles - Facilities Manager

Noah will always have a smile on his face and tells you to “drive safe!” Noah loves working with dogs and singing to them, and treats each as if they are his own. When not working, he enjoys hiking and laketime.

Role - Weekend Front Desk

It has always been Nora’s dream to work with animals, which is why she chose to work at team Updawg. She has loved both cats and dogs since childhood, having 12 pets she cared for! Nora will take the best care of you on weekends!

Role - Pack Leader

Tim has been working with dogs for more than 20 years; you don’t spend that much time with dogs if you don’t love them. When not working, Tim enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping.

Role - Top Dawg

Travis has owned the Updawg name since 2023. Being a dog lover and having his own two pups in daycare, he is striving to bring his vision and technical experience to improving the daycare and suite stays for customers and dogs alike.

Role - Housekeeper

Zoe never got the chance to grow up with pets. While she has them now, she still describes working at Updawg as "making up for lost time". When she isn't working you can find her at home with her animals or playing / watching ttrpgs.
